Hello

I’m Sophia! and this is my dog Balto!

I’m a worm farmer and soil health advocate passionate about restoring life from the ground up.

I believe healthy soil is the foundation of everything—our food, our water, and our future. Through this work, my goal is to help people understand the importance of soil health, why what we’re doing now is harming it, and how there’s a better, more natural way forward.

Whether you’re here to learn, improve your soil, or explore what’s possible, I’m glad you’re here.

My Story

My journey into soil health began in a classroom—studying soil science. It was there that something really clicked for me. What I was learning didn’t just feel like information—it felt like something I truly wanted to pursue. I could feel my passion for soil health raising inside of me.

Then, when I met Michael and was introduced to worm farming, my understanding deepened even more. I began to see just how important worms are in building healthy, living soil, and how much they contribute to restoring what’s been lost. By recycling nutrients and increasing microbial populations.

Through worm farming, I began to witness something most people never get to see—how soil comes back to life. When given the right conditions, it rebuilds, it balances, and it supports healthy, thriving plants without the need for harsh chemicals.

That changed everything for me.

I started to realize that many of the systems we rely on today are quietly degrading our soil and impacting our water. Practices like excessive tillage and chemical use don’t just solve problems—they often create bigger ones beneath the surface.

And the hard part is… most people don’t even know.

That’s why I felt called to share this.

This website is a place where I can pass on what I’ve learned—through experience, mentorship, and working closely with the soil every day. My goal is to help others see that there is another way—one that works with nature instead of against it.

This isn’t just about worms or farming.

It’s about rebuilding something foundational—for ourselves, for our future families, and for the generations that come after us.
